Saturday, February 24 10:30—11:30 Shabbat Service (please note special time) Join Rabbi Sam Weinstein, Cantor Jen Roher and Sofer Neil Yerman as we read from the newly repaired Scroll dedicated this past September.
11:30—1:30 Adult Lunch • Our Torah Scrolls: Travelers in Time. Sofer Yerman traces the journeys of our Torah scrolls from the birthplaces of our great-grandparents to the present. Transportation available. A-M bring salad; N-Z dessert! Reservations a must.
5:00 Havdalah Program For Teens & Young Adults Grades 7 & Up Share the last quiet moments of Shabbat with friends and explore the mysteries of Torah and the Aleph-Bet with Sofer Yerman. They didn’t teach it this way in Hebrew School!*
Sunday, February 25 Family Program Grades Pre-K - 6: ”How Do We Care For Our Scrolls?” Join your child and Sofer Yerman for this special hands-on program. Students and parents will learn about the process of ensuring that our Torah scrolls last for future generations.
