Mazel Tov on the completion of the Temple's new Torah!

Since 1875, Temple Shomer Emunim has been a major center of Jewish life in Toledo. Today, with almost 600 families, we are the largest of Toledo’s three congregations - a vital cultural, educational, and spiritual resource for our Jewish community. That’s why we need to reinvest in our Temple - by completing essential capital improvements and building a more substantial endowment to ensure that our Temple will always have spiritual leadership as excellent as we have today.

The first passages of Temple's new Torah scroll were written with the help of Sofer Yerman, by the generous people who have contributed to the Guardians of the Future Capital Campaign.  The letters of these passages stand as a tribute to the dedication our donors have shown, to the future of the Temple and its influence on the Jewish community and the world around us.

Many thanks to all of our "Torah Scribes"!
